Christine Pacini

Christine Pacini is a Partner of SHS Consulting, an independent consulting firm specializing in the housing field. Christine has a specialized honours degree in public policy and administration from York University and has taken graduate level courses in public administration from Carleton University. Christine has more than 25 years of professional experience in the areas of policy and research, socio-economic analysis, survey research, strategic and business planning, public consultation and affordable housing development. Christine’s past clients include the public sector at all levels of government, as well as a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations and sector organizations.

Christine has had an integral role in the preparation of more than 200 studies, including the Peel Housing Strategy, a 2010 recipient of the Canadian Institute of Planners Award of Excellence, and the City of Mississauga’s Second Units public consultation process, a 2014 recipient of the Canadian Institute of Planners Award of Excellence. She has facilitated and spoken at a range of workshops sponsored by CMHC, municipalities, realtors, and sector organizations. Christine has acted as project manager in the development of a wide range of affordable, supportive and transitional housing projects across the province, ranging from housing for seniors and persons with physical disabilities to housing for large families and youth.

Christine has been involved in impactful real estate development for most of her career and most recently was the Project Manager for the Business Case for a Housing Development Corporation for the City of London.

Christine is on the Board of Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area and is Chair of the Land & Build Committee.
