Eyal Rosenblum

As an avid traveler of the Middle East with over ten years of experiential education development under his belt, Eyal found a second home at Operation Groundswell after planning the inaugural Middle East Program in 2008. From 2010 to 2012, Eyal served as OG's Marketing Director. There, he oversaw the largest growth in the organization's history, more than doubling the number of program participants in less than two years. In 2012, Eyal took on the role of Executive Director and has been loving life ever since. His major focus has been developing and strengthening OG's educational curriculum and creating systems to better evaluate the impact of OG's projects on our community partners.

In 2011, Eyal founded Heart-to-Heart, which brings 20 Jewish and Palestinian Israelis to the Canadian outdoors for a three week coexistence seminar. Before that, Eyal was on the founding team for the Young Social Entrepreneurs of Canada – which became the first and largest organization in Canada to promote and support socially enterprising youth in achieving their goals. Eyal graduated from York University in 2010 cum laude and received a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the Schulich School of Business. During his university tenure, Eyal was awarded the Social Economy Scholarship Award for his outstanding contribution to the social economy.
