Tim Brown

Tim Brown is President and CEO of Nestlé Canada Inc., a leading company that produces some of the world’s most recognized and trusted foods and beverages.

In this role, Tim has executive responsibility for Nestlé in Canada which includes the following divisions: Beverages, Confectionery, Frozen Means and Pizza, Ice Cream, Nestlé Professional, Nestlé Purina PetCare, Nestlé Waters and Nestlé Nutrition. Nestlé in Canada businesses employ approximately 3,500 people in 21 facilities, including manufacturing sites, sales offices and distribution centres nationally. Prior to moving to Canada, Tim was Executive Vice President, Retail Operations for Nestlé Waters North America, Inc., based in Stamford, Connecticut where he spent 22 years. Tim’s leadership helped position Nestlé Waters as the number one bottled water company in North America with $4.5 billion in sales in 2011, growing market share from 25 percent to over 40 percent over the last 10 years. Nestlé Waters is a division of Nestlé, based in Switzerland, the world’s largest food company. Prior to joining Nestlé Waters, Tim worked for Procter & Gamble for three years in Texas and Oklahoma.

Apart from Nestlé, Tim is on the Board of Toronto’s non-profit Harbourfront Corporation. He actively participates in industry initiatives and sits on the Board of Directors of Food and Consumer Products Canada and the Grocery Foundation, and previously the Grocery Manufacturers Association. He also shares his business expertise by previously sitting on the Board of Directors of the Sweet Leaf Tea company and the Bare Naked Granola company. Tim is a life-long volunteer and has worked with Boys and Girls Clubs of Stamford, in addition to other school and community groups.

Tim resides in Toronto with his wife Kim and two sons, and apart from spending time with his family, is an avid golfer. He was born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y. and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Bonaventure University.
