Brown Bag Lunch with Nyla Obaid (Tuesday November 10th)

Nyla will present the findings of a study that examined how communities mount a response to the prospects of obsolescence and the role of various embedded organizations to this process. In particular, she conducted a qualitative case study of Middleton, USA, a small town that was fading into obsolescence in the 1980s, but managed to turn itself around into a thriving town by the late 2000s.

11th Annual Social Impact Summit

Over the weekend of October 16th and 17th 2015 nearly 200 student delegates from the Smith School of Business and across Queen’s University gathered with members of the Kingston community and invited speakers from across North America for an immersive conference dedicated to educating our future’s best and brightest students on issues of Social Impact and Responsible Leadership.
