Certificate in Social Impact for Professionals

The Certificate in Social Impact equips you with current insights that will spark your creativity and enhance your skills to effect positive change. You will gain the ability to use emerging approaches that integrate social impact considerations into core business and organizational strategies. By earning a Certificate in Social Impact, you will gain a depth of knowledge that can take you to the top of your field where you can make a difference and lead the way to a better world.

Each session can be taken separately or combined with an independent project to earn a full Certificate in Social Impact.

November 23-24, 2017

Learn how to integrate social finance tools within your organization to transform outcomes and investment models, while achieving measurable financial returns and valuable social impacts.

Leading with Impact2-days

November 30 - December 1, 2017

Learn what it means to be a responsible and ethical leader who can effect change within organizations, communities, and society at large. The session will focus on topics such as authenticity, designing for innovation, social intrapreneurship, and partnering across sectors.

Completion of an Applied Project

Participants will seek out an internal senior organizational mentor to advise them on the completion of an independent or team project exploring issues of social impact specific to their workplace.

Diversity and Inclusion Professional Series

The Diversity and Inclusion Professional Series seeks to address the diversity gap in senior leadership roles. These programs strengthen peer networks and develop mentorship which enhances the value of diverse leadership teams.

In development, are professional leadership programs focused on Indigenous leadership, women in leadership, and programs for newcomer Canadians.

Who Attends

The Centre for Social Impact offers the opportunity for working professionals. This program is open to any individual working in the corporate, private, non-profit or public sectors who is interested in gaining in-depth exposure to diverse and cutting-edge approaches to social impact.
