Peter Gallant is a leader and serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in early stage technology companies and advising early-stage and high-growth technology companies, venture investors, and government agencies in development and innovation strategy.

He is an adjunct faculty member in the Smith School of Business focusing on strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship and new venture finance.

He was the founding President and CEO of Kingston, Ontario-based Pathogen Detection Systems Inc. (PDS), President and CEO of WaterTAP, and established Realtime Venture Advisors Inc. to provide advisory services to emerging, high-growth companies.

Dr. Gallant holds B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen’s University.
