The Voluntary Sector Reporting Awards are suspended for the foreseeable future. When plans for the next round of awards are complete they will be posted on this website.

In agreement with CPA Ontario, the Centre’s focus will turn to funding research in governance and accountability for the next three years. For any queries pertaining to the future offering of the VRSA should be directed to Richard Piticco of CPA Ontario at rpiticco@cpaontario.ca. Any questions about the program from 2008-2015 should be directed to the Centre Director. Attached is a brief history of the Awards.

The 2014 Winners Have Been Announced

February 6, 2015, Toronto

Canada's most prestigious charitable financial reporting awards program has selected its 2014 winners. The Voluntary Sector Reporting Awards (VSRAs) announced five winners from 15 finalists from across Canada today at an awards luncheon in Toronto.

"If you want to know who some of Canada’s best charities are, then all you have to do is look at the VSRAs. We honour the best charity annual reporting. These are charities that have excelled at transparency and accountability. Congratulations to all our winners," said George Boland, Associate Director of The CPA Centre for Governance & Accountability, which organizes the VSRAs every year in partnership with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

Grant Thornton is the event's "Exclusive Accounting Firm Sponsor" and the National Post the "Media Sponsor" for the program.
