Associate Dean, MBA Programs

Dr. Murray is a Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship and New Ventures at Smith School of Business. Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug early in her career, Dr. Murray went on to create and institute many new venture-related activities at Smith School of Business, including a New Venture concentration within the Full-time MBA Program and several internal Business Plan competitions designed to provide funds for entrepreneurs intending to launch new ventures.

Associate Director, Queen's Centre for Business Venturing

JP Shearer is Associate Director of the Queen’s Centre for Business Venturing (QCBV) at Smith School of Business, Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Creating a vision to be a global leader in educating and accelerating the success of entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and innovators, JP works closely with the Associate Dean to develop and execute on the overall strategic direction, planning, and budgeting towards the success of QCBV.
