2020 International Exchange Applications

We are excited to announce that the Exchange Application is open and we look forward to seeing your students exchange application.

Exchange offers are on the way!

The New Year is here and your student’s exchange application is now complete. The coming weeks will be full of anticipation as we get ready to release the exchange offers in early February.

Extracurricular Involvement

For many Commerce students, participation in extracurricular activities is an important part of their university experience. Extracurricular activities can be a great way for students to explore their interests, meet new people, and apply the skills they learn in the classroom.

Researching Exchange

As 2019 comes to a close, your students are entering the final stages of their exchange application, with the focus on completing their Decision Matrix and making their school selections. The Smith School of Business is very proud of our strong global network of partner schools; we have over 100 in 39 countries. However, this can understandably sometimes make the selection process a little overwhelming! We encourage you to continue the conversation with your student during the winter break so that you can both be satisfied with the final selections.

Thinking About a Specialization

In the first two years of the Commerce Program, students take mostly required Commerce courses. They typically take a couple of electives from the Faculty of Arts and Science in second year, but all the first and second year Commerce courses are required. This gives students the opportunity to build the foundation of their business education, and to determine their own strengths and interests.
