This seminar style course examines the practice and impact of leadership in organizations and communities as we enter into the 21st century. The evolvement of leadership from the command and control style to the more recent transformation authentic, and will be examined in a variety of settings as described in both popular and academic writings on leadership. The impact of leadership will be assessed by research on whether and how individuals make a difference. The course also examines emerging trends in leadership in the 21st century. Texts and readings, exercises and team projects will be utilized.
Requirements: This course is restricted to students enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of their program or 2nd year Commerce students.
