Although she came to Commerce with a singular aim ("I only wanted to work at a record label"), Joanna Griffiths ended up uncovering a passion for intimate apparel that is practical and comfortable for all women.

As the founder of Knix, a line of undergarments designed to celebrate women of all shapes, sizes and ages, Joanna felt fulfilled by her work.

"There was this huge opportunity to change the way that women feel about themselves, and I just really felt compelled," she told Smith Magazine in 2018, in the wake of being named one of seven winners at the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.
