The computer lab opens 1985

Made possible by a partnership between IBM Canada and Queen's University, the student personal computer lab opened in Dunning Hall at Homecoming 1984.

A classroom and the case room were renovated to make room for the lab, equipped with 24 IBM computers and a staff of students working as lab assistants.
