Blair currently advises a group of family office and private clients as part of the Victoria, BC office of RBC Dominion Securities.  Previously, Blair co-founded Al Mal Capital, a Dubai-based investment firm, where he led the Asset Management unit and initiated a series of category-leading regional fund products.  Prior to that, Blair worked at Merrill Lynch International in Dubai and London, UK, where he managed in excess of $400 million on behalf of clients from the Middle East and Europe. Blair graduated in 1990 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Smith School of Business, Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada.  He has held a number of investment industry designations in Canada, the United States, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.
